One of the most important components in a Hi-Fi system is considered to be the preamp (pre-amplifier), it can make or break any system. Whether you prefer passive of active pre-amplification, the preamp has a major role in your system’s overall sound.

The MC-3R valve pre-amplifier is a unique design from Ming Da featuring a tube rectifier, and a trio of 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes. By sticking with a simple circuit design, the MC-3R features very few components in the signal path thus keeping the signal as clean as possible. All components are wired point-to-point like all Ming Da products.

The sound produced from the MC-3R can be best described as sounding "warm and lush". People with solid state power amplifiers will really appreciate the difference in sound by using the MC-3R.
